There is just something so magical about a Sunday, the vibe is just so relaxing and mellow. It can make you feel re-energized and ready for the new week ahead. I rarely ever have that day off, but a couple weeks ago, I was given an exception so I took full advantage of it by having the most quintessential Los Angeles Sunday; Brunch, a Farmer’s Market, and Tea at Alfred’s.
Since I knew we were going to be up and walking around a lot, I did not want an outfit that I was going to be uncomfortable in. I bought these pants from Bebe, a store I have never purchased anything from and highly avoided until the day I got these! I only associated Bebe with those horrid graphic tees and glitter assed pants but once I found these I fell in love! Plus all the stores are going out of business and becoming online only so they were 60% off! Who doesn’t love a good deal?
I paired the striped pants with this gorgeous off the shoulder top with flared sleeves from H&M. I threw on this brown bag from Target and my white sneakers from Zara to give it a very casual feel!
Shirt: H&M (similar)
Pants: Bebe (find them in stores and get a % off)
Shoes: Zara (similar)
My friend Thea recommended Kreation over in the Fairfax district, so we headed there and got some delicious food to energize us for the day ahead! We ordered a green smoothie bowl, some scramble with greens and tomatoes, and then a wellness show. This place was actually really amazing; you looked at the menu on an iPad so you were able to see what each item looked liked, they put chlorophyll in the water, and use things that create zero waste like the metal straws!
After breakfast we went to cryotherapy. If you guys don’t know what cryo is, you stand almost entirely naked in this freezing cold box for two minutes and it is supposed to have all these great health benefits, this is the very condensed version so please look into it before you try. It was my very first time trying Cryotherapy and it was a very interesting experience, especially for someone who does not do well with cold. Then after cryo we walked over to Alfred Tea Room. If you guys are in the Los Angeles area, you need to go here. It is so adorable and so Instagram worthy. No matter what time it is, you can count on it being a little hub for bloggers to take their pictures at. If you’re not a tea person, Alfred Coffee is right across the street!
There is always a Farmers Market during the day time on Sunday near a lot of main streets and Melrose Place is not one to differ. So after we got our tea, mine being a Rose tea with Almond Milk, we walked around to see all the different vendors. I got a beautiful little succulent and his name is going to be Fred. I hope I don’t kill Fred because that last time I had a cactus, I forgot about it and it ended up dying. Oops.
Then I ended the day with cuddles from my main man, Chicken. If you don’t know who Chicken is, make sure to check out this post about him.
Hope your Sunday was as relaxing as mine and feel free to check out my instagram while you’re browsing around.
